Energy cookies
If you're not having breakfast, but you'd like to start doing it, I'd start with these cookies. They are practical, and they always like everyone.
Ingredients
2 cds ground flax seeds hydrated in 6 cds of water until forming a gel)
2 cups oats
½ cup of grated coconut
½ cdite of bake powder
½ cdite of sodium bicarbonate
½ cdita of salt
· cup of peanut butter or almonds
½ cup of agave syrup or your favorite sweetener
1 cda of vanilla essence Optional for tasting:
Passes of grapes, chocolate chips, dehydrated cranberries, nuts, almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, etc
Preparation
- Start by combining in a bowl the gelified, hydrated linen seeds (this will be your egg substitute) along with peanut butter, vanilla essence and sugar or your favorite sweetener.
- Then add the oats, the grated coconut, the baking powder and the sodium bicabate. You're going to form a spice of mass with your hands that has to hold its shape when you squeeze it, if you see it's too dry you can add water from to teaspoons until you get the desired consistency.
- Here you can split the preparation and add different aggregates like those I left in the ingredients to make them different flavors and add even more nutrients and energy, but it is optional. They look good on their own too.
- With the help of your hands (if you are previously going to prevent the mass from sticking to you) you are going to give it the form of cookies and you are going to put them on a bake with baking paper or slightly oiled.
- Finally you only have to bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until the base is golden.
