Preparation

  1. You're gonna start by soaking the raw chickpeas in plenty of water for a whole night.
  2. The other day, when you go to prepare the falafel, you'll see that they'll have doubled their size. Toss the soak water and rinse them.
  3. You're going to process the chickpeas with all the other ingredients listed (less flour) until you have a kind of granulate not so fine, not so thick.
  4. Then you'll add the flour and with the help of your hands you'll integrate everything. You have to have a preparation that will hold its shape by pressing it, if this does not happen add a little more flour to the tablespoons.
  5. To cook them you can fry them or bake them. If you fry them make sure to do it in abudant oil and a few falafels at once. If the horneas do it on a previously oiled plate and in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until the outside looks well golden.
